The Wednesday #widn (what I’m doing now) edition:
3:47 am #widn
Finally moving Maggie back downstairs after being kicked one too many times. She snuck upstairs and into our bed around midnight, I think.
4:35 am #widn
Running five miles in Bellingham, with Pat. Cold and windy but no rain.
6:12 am #widn
Drinking coffee, showering, drinking more coffee.
7:23 am #widn
Jetting out the door for work (I’m spoiled again on Wednesdays, this time by Annette, who comes over, gets the girls dressed, feeds them breakfast and gets Ly off to school).
8:09 am #widn
Taking this desk selfie with Charlie, one of the Dogs of Superfeet. And then my phone let me know that was the last photo…out of storage. A phone upgrade is in my very near future.
12:17 pm #widn
At the credit union, taking out cash to pay for December day care for Maggie.
5 pm #widn
Wandering the aisles of Dollar Tree, looking for gold chocolate coins.
5:08 pm #widn
Wondering how I could go to Dollar Tree planning to buy just two bags of gold chocolate coins, and walk out spending $16. ($16?! That means I bought 16 things at Dollar Tree! How is this possible?)
5:32 pm #widn
Eating dinner at Dave and Annette’s. (This is a weekly event. Again, I am super spoiled/lucky/blessed.)
7:34 pm #widn
Reading books on the couch to two really exhausted children. They were both in bed by 7:45.
8:08 pm #widn
Filling our advent calendar with a mix of gold chocolate coins and slips of paper with miscellaneous Christmas activities written on them. Like this one, but I don’t make my own anymore. I can’t believe tomorrow is December 1st.
9:17 pm #widn
Typing this blog post, hitting publish and going to: (A) go downstairs to tidy up the kitchen, make lunches for tomorrow, go through Ly’s school papers and take Murray for a walk, or (B) go right across the hallway to bed.
I’m leaning towards option B, but this guy’s sad face may change my mind.
